Approximately 100 California clay and glass artists will be exhibiting their
work this weekend at the ACGA (Association of California Ceramic and Glass
Artists) show in Exhibitors Hall at Marin Center --about 15 miles north of
the Golden Gate Bridge. Some of you may have attended this show when it was
held annually in the Hall of Flowers in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
Although it moved to Marin last year, its the same show with a terrific group
of artists--some with international reputations. But here's the catch, I
first attended this show over 10 years ago before I ever touched clay and now
I've gone and quit my real world job and am running a pottery business--so
watch out! Seriously, though if you've never been to this show or if you
didn't know it moved to Marin, its worth traveling over the bridge for as
it's probably the best show for clay inspiration anywhere in the Bay Area (or
at least tied with ACC).
