I will be teaching a workshop again in Agost, Spain from Jun 9-26.
The focus of this workshop will be experimenting with paper clay using the
facilities at the Centro Agost.A pre-workshop tour of Barcelona and especially
Gaudi's work will occur June 5-8. Anyone interested in more information,
please email me directly. There will be limited space.

To anyone considering this workshop, I would urge you to take the
plunge. I did this workshop with Marcia a few years ago, and it was a
terrific experience. I can still get transported back to Spain by
certain music or food -- and envy those who have had the chance to
participate since then. The living space in Agost is comfortable, the
workshop facilities were ancient but good, and Marcia is an excellent
teacher. Also, the cost is very affordable, especially considering it
includes not only workshop costs, but also plane fare and living
expenses. As they say out there in the commercial world, just do it!
The usual disclaimers apply, although I can't really say I'm
disinterested because I really wish I could take the time to do it all
over again.

Dear Berry and Clayarters,
Just to add to "what she said". The facilities in Agost have been getting
better since Berry's visit. We have the soda kiln now also. This year we will
be working with paper clay as they Spanish participants (professional artists)
have requested this. Facilities include electric, Raku, Soda, saggar,
electric, a wood-fired "horn arabe".
There are 9 wheels available of the side saddle type.
Airfare is not included but a pre workshop visit to Barcelona is.
Also a visit to Cordoba and Granada are included while pieces dry
and/or cool. The finale of the workshop is the fiesta of the Fires of San
Joan!
