Through all of my searching, I haven't found a mention of this conference. I'd

I have been wondering the same thing. I came across an announcement of the
Woodfire Conference in Ceramics - Art and Perception issue 33 pg 98 . The
dates are Sep 29 - Oct 2nd 1999, with pre conference firings Sep 24 - 28. For
