It is indeed intriguing that blue seems to be far and away the best seller.
But I was interested in your statement that blue doesn't appear in nature.
What can be more natural than the blue sky that dominates our environment?
Or the blue of a pristine lake? I was recently at Crater Lake in Oregon for
the first time and was stunned at the intense and magnificent blue color.
Perhaps it is because blue is so pervasive in nature that it seems to be
most people's favorite color. (Personally, I am more partial to green).
