Does anyone out there in Clayart Land know the recipe for "Rick's
Turquoise" raku glaze sold by Daven's in Atlanta? If this is a
proprietary recipe, do you know of a similar raku glaze that will give a
rainbow color effect?

if you go to the ceramics web, and find the glaze data base there, u
might look up either "copper red to blue" or "rainbow raku" to give you a
couple of lovely raku glazes that will run the color gamut from light
aquas to deep maroons, with yellows, oranges, magentas, and bright copper
lustres in various spots...try and fire from 1800 to 2000 degrees and get
your ware into the redux chamber as quickly as possible....i'm sure you
will be thrilled with the results..if you cannot find these recipes
there, please email me and i'll dig up my glaze notebook...
