RICHARD HIRSCH, "Raku: A Personal Approach".

This will be held at Lester B. Pearson College of the Pacific, Pedder Bay,
VICTORIA, B.C. September 26-27, 1998, from 10am to 4pm both days.

working methods, multi-layered surfacing and firing processes and both his
personal philosophy and artistic conceptualization in taking the medium into
new directions beyond current methods.

His book, "RAKU", written in cooperation with Christopher Tyler, has
been one of the most influential references in this aspect of ceramic art.

Cost is $100.(Can.) and includes lunches and refreshments at coffee breaks
