Dear folks,
I know that I will get varying opinions, but that is what makes this
list so great. I want to continue to use the following Raku Crackle
Glaze: 80 Gerstly Borate/ 20 Neph Synite for Tea bowls.
Other than the controversial issue of microbes taking up residence
in the crackling, is there anything harmful about using this glaze for
tea only?
In addition, are there any helpful hints for getting the smoke smell
out of the bowl? It tends to be offensive to tea drinkers.
These are pressing issues for me and I value your opinions.

Thanks!!
Ann in PA who continues to drink coffee from one of these babys and
treasures the smell of smoke.
