Hey there...
i have always heard storys about porcelain... such as it throws like
"toothpaste" ... that it is the worst to work with.... i have always tried to
avoid it.... i have thrown with some white (non-grog) stoneware bodies that i
thought were just plain puke to throw..so i figured if they were bad...
porcelain must be worse.....
well a couple of years ago my wife made me buy a hundred pounds of
porcelain... i hadn't touched the stuff ,,... scared...... untill tonight...
thought i would try it....
i thought it really friggen'd ROCKED....... i have never had a clay body that
worked with me.... i have always felt i had to work with the clay..... but
this porcelain stuff just flowed so good.....
it is my first time to mess with something i was afraid to mess with.... just
goes to show you...... a little something about our fears...
just thought i would share..
