oxyprobe mounting question

updated sat 14 nov 98

Arturo M DeVitalis on wed 11 nov 98

On the web site for "oxyprobe" it is stated that the probe can be
installed anywhere///etc...etc. If the probe is to be used at temps over
1100 deg C/2000 F the probe should be fitted to hang vertically...it will
bend if used horizontally at high temps.

What has been your experience?...What is you best advice?
