Hi All,
I attended a workshop given by Don Holloway on crystalline glazing in July =
and
am in the market for a kiln with a kiln controller (my electric kilns won't =
go
up to Cone 10).I would could really use some input on the different brands =
of
kilns and controllers out there. During the workshop we used a Skutt with a
controller and a
Crusader with a Kilntronics Controller ( I understand that they are no =
longer
available) Any crystalline glaze potters out there? What are you using?

Hi,
Why not just convert your kilns so that they can reach cone 10?

I've been told that the bricks in my kilns (Blue Diamond Kilns) wouldn't
make it to Cone 10. It would be a lot more than just replacing elements.
Thanks for the suggestion. I should probably confirm that with the
manufacturer.
