hi all...is there any evidence to suppport the theory that a burst of heavy
reduction at around 1100c is helpfull in the development of good reds...for
many years i have done this and am wondering if I am wasting fuel or in
fact helping my copper reds.....i am using a gas fired downdraft kiln
firing cone 13 down

thanks in advance for your thoughts

cheers Ray Carlton
