Clayarters :

Does anyone know of a material to clean the brass wand of a garden sprayer =
that
is used for spraying soda into a kiln? I normally wash wand with hot water =
and
then spray with WD 40, but I thought there might be a better material for
cleaning that will keep sodium from corroding the metal. TIA.

What I have seen done with the wand is that people just use a piece of copper
tubing, and after it clogs they just cut it off and flatten the end.
this puts out a flat spray, one has to rotate the wand and it works quite
well.
