ashes to glaze

Ok, I can't keep silent any longer. Another cultural perspective!

I was told many years ago by an "old one" that there is an essence in
the human body that cannot be measured on the physical plane. This
essence continues to inhabit the physical body for 3 days after death.
If cremation takes place during this 3 days the ashes will have trapped
this illusive substance in it's chemical matrix thereby insuring the
"presense of the person" in the ashes. To totally "free" the complete
ethereal body one must allow these ashes to become part of the
planet...scattering them in the winds, the water or the earth.

By making glazes out of these ashes, one will somehow also "trap" this
essence not allowing it to fulfill it's destiny as part of the continual
cycles of life.

This trapped substance is beyond our normal vision and color
spectrum..but will manifest itself when in distress with beautiful
colors in our spectrum. According to the "old ones" this is the cause
of the beautiful glazes that can occur is the ashes of the recently
dead...human as well as animal.

From this perspective...if one is planning to use any ashes from a once
living creature...please wait at least 3 days and allow the spirit to
depart. The glaze will still be beautiful due to just the chemical
configuration of bone ash....and you won't have the inaudible cries for
freedom filling the vessel and your home with sadness and
desperation...and may I also add--bad kharma!!!
