The community studio to which I belong is replacing their 30 cubic foot ALPINE
updraft with a second downdraft that won't require such long firings. The
kiln is 10 years old, was fired regularly for the first 5 years and rarely for
the last 5. Other than broken thermocouples for the controller it is
supposedly in good condition (I'm too new at this to tell-I just know that I
loved the few loads that came out of it and am sick to learn of this sale.)
BTW the "weight is between two and three tons and it is the buyer's
responsibility to remove the kiln...before November 15, 1998."

Viewing by appointment between 9 AM and 5 PM Monday - Friday. Contact
Margaret Vollrath at the Britt David Cultural Arts Studio, 2700 West Britt
David Road, Columbus, GA, (706) 653-4196 for appointment and more info.

I'm sorry I didn't get this posted sooner but wasn't aware of the sale till
this morning.
Take care,
