The ACGA show in Marin is not as well known as ACGA's July show in Palo Alto
but has many of the same artists. Last year the show was visually wonderful
but poorly attended by the public. There were a number of reasons for this
which ACGA is determined to remedy this year. We may lose a few artists who
were disappointed by last years turnout but I suspect we'll gain others who,
like me, are perpetual optimists. One thing that makes the ACGA shows
interesting is that they run two juries each year to admit new exhibiting
members so there's both established artists and emerging talent. Jane
