I'm looking for emulsions named "solution dekorem", "diulant dekorem"
and "Kodak dekorem 93". These three chemicals are needed for creating
black and white photos on ceramics. If anyone knows of where I can
obtain them or a substitute, please email me at mvuko@hotmail.com.

Is this different than, say, luminol? Please tell more about this
process! I was going to experiment with projecting photos on glazed or
otherwise finished pots, and thought the best way would be to use
luminol. I would appreciate information about the chemicals you are
asking about and your technique. Also, do you know of a price range for
these materials?

thanks,

Are you trying to find the stuff that you can print a photographic image and
fire it? I tried to find a supplier of this stuff, I had an address in upstate
New York but they were no longer in Business, maybe if you contact Kodak, or
Polaroid directly they may be able to help you, at the time of my search I
didnt have the benefit of cyberspace, I gave up on my search and instead used
liquid light and have done gel medium transfers...(much more economical) if
you find the stuff that can be fired can you please pass on the info,
meanwhile I will help with the search as well.

Have you heard of Liquid Light by Luminos, it work pretty good. I've use it
on several clay projects. I buy Liquid Light from Freesyle Sales Co.
800-292-6137.
I have not heard of these other chemicals (or processes) please tell me
more about them.

I just rembered, there is a man in Canada who has been working on a
book detailing ceram/photo processes. Only problem is I can't
remember his name. I found him on one of the photo related web sites.
I'll search my records and see if I can come up with his name and e-
mail address. This was about a year ago so it may take me some time
to find it.
meanwhile let us know if you find anything.

The last e-mail address I have for Luis Nadeau is
nadeaul@nbnet.nb.ca
His snail mail address is
Luis Nadeau
P.O. 1570
Station A
Fredericton
New Brunswick
Canada E3B 562
I haven't corresponded with him for quite some time-Supposedly he was
working on a book deatiling photo-ceramic processes. I know you can
do silk screen and there is one other process that I have tried using
a solution containing silver nitrate (with limited results) I will
look up the recipe and post it on clay art. But I believe Luis was
working on publishing methods other than these.
Maybe his book is finished now.
