celadon - small problem

I just opened a kiln of blue celadons and shinos. Liked both of the
shinos and the celadon. Thank you, clayarters. They made my scraggly
pots look better than they usually do. (Just drank a brew from
one...tasted better.) One blue celadon fired on the back of top shelf of
the kiln is on a tallish (for me) pot with diamond shaped deep fluting
and is a lovely light blue, remindful of glaciers. The same celadon on
lower shelves is nice, also, but those are all a soft gray-blue.
Question: Would firing in a saggar on those lower shelves probably
encourage the blueness? I'm going to try it, anyway, but it's helpful
to have an idea where I'm going. Thanks as always.

race across the open areas to get to the fallen trees.
