Here are a few things to see from a Philadelphian who has left town for summer
"down the shore."
The Clay Studio, on 2nd Street between Race and Arch
That's Old City, full of galleries, glass at Hot Soup, crafts at Snyderman
Gallery on Cherry Street, 300 Block - everything open on the first Friday of
the month in the evening
Helen Drutt on Walnut Street in the 1700 block - other art galleries in that
area
Museums: Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rodin Museum, Barnes Foundation,
Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts at Broad & Cherry
There's also great stuff in the Convention Center where I assume the Rosen
show is, Takeashu (sp?), Bill Daly, etc.

Have fun,

Lynne,
Philadelphia Craft Week will feature events at more than 34 local galleries
and exhibition spaces. In addition, the Buyers Market with hundeds of
ceramic artists will be held at the Convention Center July 24-26. It's a
great week to be in Philly with thousands of gallery owners and artists all
over town... BTW- we're sharing the hotel with the Harley Davidson folks
this year... will you be able to tell the bikers from the artists?

For info on how to attend as an artist guest please call our office.
Thanks,
Wendy
