THANK-YOU THANK-YOU THANK-YOU ALL!!!!!!!

I have just unloaded a batch of frames and VWLAH!!!!! no
cracks!! I want to thank the many clayarters who wrote me with
suggestions. There were many of you. Again.... Thanks so
much...

The two things I did different on this load / batch.....

1. - the edges were NOT even, no 3" border.... or 2" border.....
they were all free form with the frame hole cut out. Some 5"x7"
frame cut outs even had a 6" border on one end where a clock with
be attached, where the other borders were say 2" - 1" depending on
the shape of the piece.

2. - these pieces were once fired. The leaf patterns I had inlaid
in them were glazed on the green ware and then the pieces were
loaded and fired, even faster than the previous loads (I hate it
when shows sneak up on you!!).

well...... I am off to chicago for a show and then R&R at my best
friends place, for 9 whole days!!

Again, I want to thank you all so much for all you help!!!!!

JuliE in Michigan about to embark on a vacation.....
