Clayarters who live in the San Francisco Bay Area will have a chance to
see and buy the work of 122 clay and glass artists who are juried
members of the Association of Clay and Glass Artists of California on
July 11th and 12th, The hours are 10-5 at the Palo Alto Cultural Center,
1313 Newell Road, Palo Alto. Phone 650-329-2366. The admission is free.
There will be a special exhibit of tableware and place setting that will
be on display inside the front door.
If you would like a preview, tune into Channel 2 Sunday morning June
28th at 9:30am. Rosie Chu interviews 3 bay area people and the 2nd one
is Jan Schachter who has a display of many of the artists work
This clay/glass festival is well worth a visit. There will also be
demonstrations of making pottery and ikebana flower arranging.
