sheldon's carry long run glaze

I am looking for a glaze that is maybe 20 years old or so...??? I've
looked through my books and can't find it. All I have is a drastically
altered recipe that an art teacher friend gave me. Does anyone out know
the recipe for Sheldon's Carry Long Run? Anyone even heard of it? It is
suppose to be a very long running glaze that melts down around ^2 but
still offers color changes and holds up to ^10. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks a lot!

There was a professor teaching at UCSB at that time named Sheldon Kaganoff.
He taught the glaze calculation class there. At that time he was firing
mostly c10 reduction. He has retired from teaching and now is baking bread.
I don't know if there is any connection, but you could probably find out how
to reach him via the UCSB ceramics or art dept.

Sheldon Carey is/was a potter. Glen Nelson in his book CERAMICS a potters
handbook third edition, places him in Kansas during the
60's, and maybe the 70's. I would suspect that the glaze gets its name and
maybe origins from him?
