This didn't break through the 1st time round.....

I *always* wash my hands with anti-bacterial soap after working
with clay or glazes. Yes, it dries one's hands badly, BUT I've
never had the "creeping cruds" (infections) that others
have talked about on the list. I don't use anything in my
throwing water other than water either.

Another good suggestion - vent WELL when using hot wax on pot
bottoms. Even in the dead of winter, I open the door and put
a fan behind me.

Other ideas?
