art vs. craft: mental exercises

I have to say after a brief discussion here in Howard, Colorado Clyde &
and I have "over simplified" the craft vs art argument even further:

WE USE ART TO MAKE OUR CRAFT--WE USE CRAFT TO MAKE ART!

The end product is a an object of self expression. The rest of this adds
up to a bunch of mental masturbation. Pardonthe phrase however we all
must recognize that if you keep refering to art and craft as exalted
nouns instead of verbs it adds up to glorified whacking off.
