Hi All,

I know I have been quiet lately, but with good reason. I had my teaching
schedule increase from one to two days and I have been organising
funding for our trip to the US. As most of my teaching takes place in
rural areas, it means my travelling has increased as well.

Anyway, now for the good news;

Thembinkosi Mgaga, Duduzile Gumede and myself sre just about set for our
trip to the US. Some extra details regarding funding and organisation
still needs to be arranged. We are expecting to arrive in Chicago in mid
September and will be travelling through the Mid-West and South. We will
be around for five to six weeks. If anyone has info on fairs etc in this
timeframe, please let me know. We will also be available to schools
during the week.

I have enlisted the help of Suzanne Lind, the local co-ordinator of the
Mennonite Central Committee, to help me with the arrangements. I would
have to work out an itenary with her, so please let me know.

To everyone who contributed in some way to the gestation of this idea,
my deep and sincere thanks

Tracey Collier

Ps. What is the weather like at that time of the year?
