sandy glaze materials?

I have tried both this version and John Post's variation of Gibby's
Tenmoku. I like Gibby's original best, but BOTH of these glazes have a
heavy sandy sediment in the bottom of the bucket that just will NOT stay
suspended. It's either the lithium or the bone ash; I'm suspecting the
bone ash, since I've never worked with it before and it's in both
versions. Any suggestions? Most of it sieves out at 60m.
