June,

This is from Tom Coleman's glaze recipes.

Vegas Red

Custer Feldspar 40.02
EPK Kaolin 2.22
Whiting 8.06
Gerstley Borate 8.34
Dolomite 8.34
Zinc Oxide 1.67
Barium Carbonate 4.17
Tin Oxide 2.50
Silica 24.68
______
100.00

Add Copper Carbonate .5%

This glaze is candy apple to deep blood red in color. It has a shiny
smooth surface over porcelain. Reduction should be started around cone
08 or earlier. This glaze will start to pool at cone 10 if applied too
thickly. Cone 9-10 reduction.

Hope this works for you!
