Back in the dark years before good books NCECA published an article
by Don Rietz on salt firing. It might still be available. The Ceramics
Library at Alfred Univ. Should have a copy ofJeff Zameks thesis on soda firing.
Both are early work on the salt soda firing process but are still worth a look.
Kiln design and type of work would be major cosiderations in any salt/soda
venture.
