Join us for a day-long class with Arina Ailincai. She will demonstrate
screen printing techniques on plaster moulds, working in paper clay and
finally the manipulation of these clay pieces into wall hangings, vases and
boxes. Arina will also discuss and bring along the body moulds used for
her pieces in the exhibition "Insideout" (on during the workshop). $45

Don't miss this opportunity to see ceramic virtuoso Jim Thomson give a
master class on Sunday Feb. 21, 10-4pm at the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic
Art. Jim will show slides in the morning and talk about the his 25
years in clay, iincluding amusing and poignant stories and insights. In
the afternoon, he demonstrates the construction of his boboli pots, cone
shaped pieces with elaborate grid work on the open side. Cost: $40
