I don't do reduction so I'm passing along some hear-say about the
zinc question. I heard someone (who ought to know) comment that
you start to see the effects of zinc when you have enough control
of your reduction to get consistent firings. And use an oxyprobe
to reduce "right" (whatever that is, you guys who do it will know).
Then, according to this particular guru, you would be able to see
what effects the zinc has.
Don't flame or probe me, I'm just repeating gossip...
