glaze ingredients in food

Speaking of glaze ingredients in food, if you look at store bought white
frosting, the white is usually from Titanium Dioxide. I make mine
homemade, but haven't dived into the Titanium bag, and it usually looks
a bit dingy... The little silver balls used as decors are coated with
real silver, and have the warning "Use only as a decoration, not as a
candy." Of course silver isn't generally used in pottery, but it's
interesting...
