Here's a suggestion ---
Try trimming your pots when they are a bit wetter -- a softer leather hard.
I wanted to loosen up my trimming several years ago and started trimming
as soon as the pots were stiff enough to put back on the wheel. Also
turned out to be an unintentional cure for chattering. Hope it works for
you.
