the floating blue glaze

I have been interested in the most recent materials on the floating blue
glaze with and without the use of gertsley borate. It sound much like a blue
glaze called dennis' carib blue which I developed a few years ageo. |this
was a cone 6 runing blue glaze which was fired to cone 8 with specturlar
sults. Please send me your experiences with a glaze of this general type, I
would like to put together a research papers for possible publication in
clay times. I have a paper on gertsley borate in press at the moment and
this seems a glaze area which has historical roots in glazemaking.

I have no particular information to add to this discussion, but I'll
use it to air a point of view, as it illustrates my point perfectly.
Notice the original posting is unsigned. So I am just asking people to
remember to sign their full name, especially if they expect replies.
Many only give their first name, some, such as here, do not give a
name at all. Maybe they don't realise that the list appears as author
in the general postings. Anyway, it is nice to know who you are
communicating with, so please remember, sign off properly.
