I have had the same experience with Brent wheel creep, except that even
with speed adjustment, the wheel would begin creeping again after a few
days. If this is happening to you, try tightening the small allen screw on
the speed lever arm in the foot pedal. First ensure that the wheel is OFF.
Remove the cover plate on the bottom of the foot pedal. Set the pedal in
the full "off" or "on" position, whichever the allen screw is easiest to
get at. Then loosen the screw slightly and retighten. Move the pedal up and
down a few times to observe the speed lever arm movement across the
resistor (a small rectangular block ). Ensure that no overshoot occurs as
the arm travels to either end of the resistor. Next, readjust the red and
blue speed control buttons according to Mel's instruction in a previous
e-mail. If you missed them, here they are.

1. Turn the wheel on and set the foot pedal to maximum speed.
2. With a small screwdriver, adjust the red button to a sensible throwing
speed.
3. Next, set the foot pedal to minimum speed.
4. Adjust the blue button until the wheel stops, then turn it slightly more
in the same direction.
( The slight extra movement has the effect of ensuring no creep when
the electrical voltage varies slightly).
5. Replace the foot pedal cover.
