I'm amazed at your statement. You are a self-professed newbie
to the group, and you make such a blanket statement. Wow - left
me stunned.

I have both given and rec'd glazes over the last year and a half
or so. What you may not be aware of is that sometimes requests
for glazes are answered privately. You don't know what goes on
behind "closed doors".

Each of us has our own area of expertise. Each contributes in his/her
own unique way or *will* be able to in the future due in no small
part to clayarts openess and willingness to share. Those that give
realize that others will benefit down the line...they don't necessarily
require a one-on-one return. IMO this is a virtual continuation of
the potters apprentice program :)

I have collected glazes given openly on clayart. In return, I published
a long list of these glazes and my results to the group. This allows
others to learn from my experiments (and from my occasional bloopers
as well).

I _was_ going to write and "exchange" glazes with you, but have decided
against it at this point in time. I suggest you "lurk" for a while;
read, "listen" and when you understand what Clayart is all about, *then*
feel free to make comments....
