Jeff Oestreich, certainly one of the best potters in the U.S, will be
giving a slide lecture on his work at San Diego State University on Monday
evening, March 16, 1998 at 7pm in the Art Building, room 412. This is a
free public lecture. Parking is available near the art building. Please
call 619-594-6511 for details, directions and parking information.
In addition, Jeff will be doing a workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday for
SDSU ceramics students. We can probably accomodate a few others. If you are
interested in attending his workshop, please email me personally (not to
clayart!). The workshop and lecture are sponsored by the SDSU Ceramic Arts
Association, the student ceramics club, and by the School of Art, Design
and Art History.
