Hello All,
I would appreciate any information on where I can purchase some copper
sulfide. So far I have run into a wall finding it.

Standard Cer. Supply has copper sulFATE. Don't know about sulfide.

I believe what you're trying to find is copper sulphate. You can find it at
a hardware or feed store. I think it is a type of fertilizer. Barbara

I found copper sulfide at our local Lowe's - a kind of all purpose do it
yourself center. It is sold as root dissolver for septic systems.

Are you certain you don't mean Copper sulphate?

If you could possibly use copper sulfate....it is available in 50 lb.
bags at the feed store. I now have a "lifetime" supply (since I use
scant amounts) for my pit firing.

Correction on the url for hard-to-find glaze ingredients. Its

Also, they'll send an MSDS with the order.

Ken.--

If copper sulfide (not copper sulfate) is what you want, you can get it,
325 mesh, from Aldrich Chemical Co., 800/558-9160.
