venco pugmill oil change

It's time to change the vacuum pump oil on my pumill! The sight glass for
the oil level is also the drain plug. Correct? The brief (putting it
mildly) directions state "this compressor must be filled with Multigrade
20-40 oil. Do not use friction modified oils." Is this SAE 20-40
automobile oil? I have some 30 wt. Sunbiss turbine oil made for compressors
but I don't know if this oil will do.
Thanks, Suzanne.

Hi Suzanne:

On my Venco vacuum pump (made by Clisby), there is a drain plug just below
the sight glass. It is just a little bolt that you unscrew. Refill with
SAE 20-40 automobile crankcase oil.
