I am considering a woodfire workshop here at The University of
Alabama. I have built and fired a two chambered bourry box, flat
topped, half Olsen, soft brick lined with ITC, 120 cubic foot more or
less kiln. The kiln is designed to be fired with my sawdust burner
as well as stoked wood. Last firing we flattened/puddled cone 12 in
about 20 hours.
I am looking at April 17-19 for the firing. There will be a nominal
charge. Is there any interest in joining us in a firing?
