Fellow Clayarter's
I was reviewing the entry qualifications for the Orton Cone box exhibit and
the rules say the entry must fit in a 3 x 3 x 6 large cone box. I measured my
large Orton cone box at 3 x 2 1/4 x 6... Do I not have the large box???

Thanks,

We are still using the old cone box measure of 3x3x6 inches.
The new boxes are smaller due to packing material. They are also
soft sided and not very good to pack and ship pieces in.
The cone box pieces do not have to be shipped in the cone box,
we measure all entries (fit them in a box when in doubt) and
some are too big!!!!! I am like a kid at christmas at the
moment, opening boxes from many countries and states. Should
your piece be awarded a purchase prize do remember that you
will recieve 100$ REGARDLESS of selling price!!!!!!!
