clayart shutting down soon

updated wed 29 aug 12

i have saved the entire mailing list of clayart as of today,
and we have all the codes in place.

the server will be shipped to arnold howard at paragon industries
and it will be housed there.

john hohenshelt, the owner of paragon has gladly offered
his company server to be the new home of clayart.
i will pay all the bills and rental of the software.

arnold howard will partner with me to keep things running
smoothly. arnold and john stepped forward the minute things
started to unravel. you can hug them both at nceca in houston.
or, buy them a doctor pepper. there is no obligation with the
paragon company, only loyalty and friendship.

i assume the plug will be pulled tomorrow morning at acers, the
shipping department will get the server.

i have no idea how long this will take, so assume you are on vacation
for a week or so. if all goes well, we will just plug it in, and attach
the ethernet cord. change the address and it will start right up.
we will modernize the system as time goes on. in fact, we will probably
move it over their professional server later this year. or, i will pay
for a new computer system at paragon. we will see. listserv 16 is
ready to go.

i will give updates on my clayart website during the week. so, if it all
goes black, just wait for the lights to come back on.

I know I don't post a lot, but I read CA daily. I would just like to take =
a
moment and thank Arnold, John and of course Mel for their dedication to
Clayart. I cannot begin to tell you all the help I have gotten from this
list & even happier that I found it many years ago. I hope to see everyone
again in Houston, but in the meantime: thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Looking forward for 'the lights to come back on'.
