the clay scene in princeton nj?

My wife and I may relocate to the vicinity of Princeton NJ. I would be
grateful for any information about the environment for a studio potter in
that area, meaning within commuting distance of Princeton itself.

Is there an established community of potters in the area? Perhaps a potters
guild? A nearby ceramic supply house? Are there building code or other
restrictions on gas-fired kilns? Zoning restrictions on operating a
business out of one's home? A community clay program or other studio where
one could do reduction firing on a fee-per-load basis? What are oppor-
tunities for local sales, e.g. through galleries, summer fairs, studio open
houses, and so on? Is there anyone in the area that I should consult,
such as a gallery owner, who would be knowledgeable about local
opportunities for a potter?

Any information about the Princeton clay scene will be greatly
appreciated. You can reply to me personally, off Clayart.
