australian vs. canadian spodumene

I used a small amount of what was labeled "Canadian spodumene" in Penn Stat=
e Shino (and others). I recently got a 50# bag that appears to have tiny cr=
ystals in it- it was labeled "spodumene concentrate". My understanding from=
reading archives is that this is a mining term, and that I likely have "Au=
stralian spodumene".

That was the only change that I can track. My shino went to crap- seems flu=
xed, shiny, crazed, with a crappy color unless it's under-fired. I made 2 b=
atches to make sure I didn't screw up.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to adjust for glaze tests, or an analy=
sis comparison between Canadian and Aussie so that I can calculate?
