"plastic!" mixing small batches of concrete

Not quite the line from the movie...
In the past I've mixed small batches of concrete in a plastic garden cart,
pushing and pulling with a small hoe.
I've found that a sheet of plastic is easier.
For a batch of 3/8ths cu ft I split open a heavy duty "contractors"
garbage bag.
I placed the drys on it and mixed them by lifting the corners, trading
sides and flipping the material into the middle.
Then the same M.O. after adding water.
There's more stooping with working on the ground vis a cart 12" high but in
all less work
FYI the mix was 3gallons perlite, 1gallon with 1/2grog and 1/2 lincoln F.C.
and 1 gallon portland cement. (this is higher than needed but the bag's
been hanging around awhile )
