Thank you Bonnie for the suggestion to use Silicon Carbide to create =3D
blisters!

But I need some recipes for glazes that blister as a "defect" in an =3D
otherwise normal, pedestrian glaze.
I want to pursue a particular hunch about blistering...And additives are =
=3D
"out", "common and usual" in!

I so far have received only one recipe for a glaze that blisters...and =3D
the only one I found so far in my notebooks calls for materials I do not =
=3D
have--GB for one.

Please! Someone, every one, must have a glaze recipe that blistered =3D
badly. =3D20

I really do need about six.

Thanks,

Marilee's Lava Glaze

Whiting 23.91
Custer Feldspar 49.73
EPK 13.18
Flint 13.18
Titanium Dioxide 11.29
Silicon Carbide .34

Mason Stain 6600 .70 to 100

I've used other stain colors as well. I really don't know what it
looks like without stain, but it looks like a broken lava field.

Dear Lili

The problem with what you are looking for is that nobody keeps 'em. If you =
h=3D
ave a recipe that does that you expunge it from memory, destroy all evidenc=
e=3D
, and NEVER go there again.=3D20
Trust me.=3D20
Been there, done that, cleared the decks and moved on!
