=3D0AHey=3D
Folks,=3D0A=3D0A=3DA0So I was just about done loading the front setting in=
the l=3D
ast video. Now comes the challenge of getting the last shelf of pots on top=
=3D
so I can brick up the door. This firing I bricked the door =3D0Awith one t=

the chamber to about 1000F before starting to switch the fire to the hobs .=

=3DA0I noticed something about using the knee high active damper in the sta=
ck=3D
I thought was holding heat in when in fact having the damper in kept the s=

tack cool and slowed the draft.so, in addition to adding leftover door bric=
=3D
k to take the stack to about 17', I closed off the damper slot and set the =
=3D
chimney cap to about 1/2 open. and concentrated on stoking. Some time after=
=3D
the kiln got to 2000 I slid the cap to about 1/3 open and didn't mess with=

about 64 hours and peeking revealed some runny glazes up front and what se=
