Dear Eva,
I have noted down some (yet untested) recipes from the internet that sound
like what you describe:

*Zeller (Reduction. cone 9-10)*

Custer 89
Whiting 9
Ball clay 2
_________
100

Add: Rutile 3%
RIO 2%
Bentonite 5%

and:
*
Brown/ Blue Persimmon (9-10 Reduction)*
Custer 70
Flint 14
Whiting 14
Gaolin 2
_______

100

Add: RIO 2 %
Rutile 3%
Bentonite 3%

"best over white clay)

If the double-glazed tea caddy on my blog homepage
www.mypottery.blog.comis more what you're searching for let me know
and I will send you the
recipe.

Regards,

Inge
