Hi Mel -

The NCECA website does not make it easy for you. I was successful in
registering, but I had to flip-flop back and forth between several pages to
do it.

Buona fortuna. Persist!

See you in Seattle.

I could not register online because I put in all my information then tried
to use our college credit card issued to another person to pay.
College paying for registration - I pay to get there, eat and hotel.
Had to call, read off the information to the person on the phone.
The real person at the other end did not know why online registration didn'=
t
work, but thought also credit card with different name may be the issue.
I must say that the person who assisted me was very helpful.
Took longer, but it was also nice to speak with a real person when I called=
.
Other times I have registered online I did not have these issues.

Mel: Should be no problemo! I've had 12 students and 2 faculty register and
we're international that pay more. Yikes.

Hi Mel,
I registered today and it was very easy. I followed the directions to NOT u=
se
Safari and used Firefox instead. The only thing I had to do extra was reset=
my
password since the old one had expired since my last NCECA in Portland.

Looking forward to seeing all Clayarters at the conference!

When I tried to reset my password the page insisted I enter the original
(long forgotten) password which was the reason I was trying to reset my
password in the first place.
In desperation I called NECEA's office and they gave me a password that
would go through. I just assumed I missed something simple! I wasted an
hour but was finally able register.

Hi Gayle,
I lucked out and remembered my old password after the second try. Otherwise=
I
think I would have had to call like you did. I am glad they have security
measures in place for their online transactions, though.
