how to pugger question

Hi Shula, i have a peter pugger and this is how use it.

Put in a mix of clay, some harder, some soft, some even really soft. =3D
Pack the=3D20
pugger until you cannot push the top down anymore or you see that it's
really full and no empty spots as you look in around the blades. Wet =3D
clay should be shoved in=3D20
towards the end that is near were the clay comes out and harder clay =3D
towards the back of the machine when loading.
With each batch of clay you put in till it's full, turn it on and let it=3D=
20=3D

spin for about a minute. If you put to much wet clay in, it will get the =
=3D
spins and
never come out so you have to put in the right mixture of hard and wet =3D
clay
scraps are good too but I never put dry scraps.
A good way to tell if you are putting to much wet clay is to look in the =
=3D
area that
creates the vaccumm, behind the little door. If you see it gunked up =3D
with clay in there
then you are putting to much wet clay and it will not come out. if it =3D
does come out,
it will look like a real mushy log,not a solid shaped log.=3D20
Some people i know put a little wet rag in the black rubber cap to keep =3D
it from drying
out in between pugging if you don't do it often.
I've never cleaned mine out yet. I was scared to because my neighbor =3D
cleaned
hers out and then the entire computer board died. It took six months for =
=3D
them to send a new one.
When I originally called peter pugger, they were very helpful and talked =
=3D
me through
the whole thing on the phone. One other thing, the little jar next to =3D
the vaccumm?
your not supposed to have liquid in it. If you do, remove it. Also, if =3D
your new to pugging,
don't expect it to come out asap, walk away for 5 minutes and it usually =
=3D
comes out.
One other thing, make sure your seal is good around the area you put the =
=3D
clay in.
If you have clay oozing out, it will cause an air leak and it will not =3D
pressurize.=3D20
I hope this helps, Gina Mars
