when the `dock6` women installed their first
big gas car kiln* in their industrial location, of course
the gas inspector rolled in. he had never seen
a gas kiln in his life. he hated it. and, the
one mistake he made was he called the women
`little girls`...like: `you little girls don't know
what you are doing.`
(* a donovan palmquist designed car kiln...much like nils`.
in fact, donovan married one of the dock6 `girls`.)
like hell they didn't. kerry brooks knows about
twenty times more about kilns than any inspector
in town.
they had just spent a thousand dollars on all
new super safety, electronic ignition systems for
that kiln. no pilot lights...all super safe electronics.
the inspector said...` i have never seen that stuff on
a kiln, don't think you should use it...better have
pilot lights...so throw out that electronic stuff.`
and, they had to paint the different sizes of gas pipe
different colors for the size change. like the three inch
pipe had to be red, you understand.
so, the women changed out the kiln to pilots and
kept the electronics and changed it all back a year later.
he never did give them the ok to use the kiln..just never
came back..ever...and that was 9 years ago.
you will howl if you ever read my book and see the
videos i have taken of kerry's new location.
the kiln sits outdoors, in an alley with a nice
wooden fence around it. metal roof. the day i shot
the video the elderly
neighbor lady was two fee from the kiln when it
was on high, and she was weeding her garden...she
does not have a clue what is behind that fence.
kerry's kiln is quiet, no smoke....wonderful compressed
air burners. it is all hidden. away from prying eyes.
she just shipped 7500 coasters last week. 30 employees.
the kiln runs 24/7.
i don't call kerry `little girl`.
kerry is a very big woman. she is one of the most powerful
throwers i have ever seen. she is proud of her size and power.
she stands tall. one of the best trio of women i have seen
together is kerry, primal mommy and stephanie stephenson.
i really love those three women. power and energy and
amazing intelligence, all wrapped
up in 3 very beautiful women.
