The area I have just moved to has never had a pottery located here. My
doors are not even opened yet and many have shown an interest in taking
classes. This was something I had given very little consideration.
Would those of you who do have classes out of your home studio be able
to share some of your wisdom on:

1. pricing. what is reasonable to charge, I would sell the clay by box
or half box. glazes? Firing (c10 electric)

2. how long should I wait to start the classes. Having just moved, and
the house/studio not finished, I need a certain amount of time to get my
feet back.

3. size of classes? Studio could accomidate 10 - 15 for handbuilding
lessons. Or could move to the basement which has room for 25 students.

4. feasability. Is this even an option for the studio potter

I am sure that there are many things that I have not touched on Please
help me in this decision.
